The morning doves love to hang out in the yard, either perching on the fence or snuggin in groundlevel in the shaded areas, hardly visible. I see them in the funniest places sometimes when I am out working in the yard. Generally, two are always together. During the evening they'll rest on our deck and kind of hang out with us. They love fresh water in the bird dishes and eating at the bird feeders. They are territorial and often it gets bad enough one of us gets up to break up a big fight. Their coo sound is a beautiful, relaxing sound.
