Last spring I mentioned we got to watch ALL the stages of the baby mockingbird becoming independent enough to be on their own. Mom and Dad Mocker had 4 babies and all survived. Since they nested in our backyard we were able to spend many weeks photographing the entire thing. Well I got tired of uploading towards the end and never got to showing the cutest photos of all which had to be the splash bath day. Oh there was a day too of learning to eat podicarpus berries but I a may have shown a few of those! Will have to scroll back through my posts here. I've been thinking about those photos every since especially with the cardinals now nesting here. So here they are! All of these in the photo slide show were taken through my bedroom window. The window was a lot cleaner last year so the clearity is not bad.
