The Gator Whisperers

A neighbor called the alligator trappers as they said the gator was sunning itself in their backyard. They have toddlers and live on the pond. Gator Whisperers contracted by the state were trapping on Derexa Pond for 5 days (11/18-11/22), and did not catch the gator according to their reports. I did not see anything either. They used bait that was hung from plastic bleach like looking jugs. You can see them here on their vehicle. When the gator takes the bait you know it because the jug floats following him around the pond as he swims. This is how they locate him to trap or kill if necessary. They said the fact the gator did not take the bait is a indicator they are not being fed by humans.
