I haven't posted much lately. There is 80 acres of the Beck's Orange Groves being destroyed next to us to build a new development called Windermere Sound. It's being burned and the ashes and smoke are horrendous. The wildlife is distraught. A doe (looks like bambi and we do live behind Disney) was wandering around and was on my neighbor's front porch. Someone driving by took a picture of it and posted it on Nextdoor.com. Here it is. A doe was in my bushline just resting next to my porch. Several alligators were lying on our ponds bank across the street which is very unusual because generally we don't see so many at one time. The pond is very small and many homes are on it. The noise, the fires, the loss of habitat is displacing the wildlife.
