This Migratory Bird Nest Guidance document (pdf attached) was prepared by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. It was prepared by two of their Biologists. It was provided to Orange County Public Works Department on Friday, April 18, 2014. This was in response to a concern regarding massive springtime tree trimming during bird breeding and nesting season for two consecutive years in a row here in the community, in combination with the extensive loss of habitat in our immediate area with the development of Horizons West, as well as, another subdivision in close proximity to ours with spring tree trimming just rendered.
