Well today is day 6 with the mocking bird saga. So, apparently the nest was done on day 3 but what's going on in there now is anyone's guess. I'm afraid to look. Look at her. Mad as a hornet. That's the way it looks to me. How about you? Look at her expression, angry, giving me the evil eye. I'm not imagining it, I know I'm not. I haven't done anything but try to co-exist in my own backyard either. The male and female have managed to harass and bully every other bird out of the place too. That's right, bullying takes place even with the birds. Noone can come near the place and I am afraid it is only a matter of time before I have to wear my bike helmet out there. Dive bombing my head pecking at me is what I envision. God help the poor little eggs if there are any in there because they seem to spend more time out of the nest patroling the border than they do incubating. Just sayin' ...
