Two adult eagles were on the Derexa pond tonight about 7-7:30 pm. They were together on the rooftop at 13259 Venetta Way for a bit too. They flew away but one adult came back with a fledgling (I think) and ate a fish on the far bank with the submissive fledgling next to it. I didn't have my camera but another neighbor caught the bald eagle at the pond and photographed it posting it to Nextdoor.com. see my prior post.
This is what happened earlier in the day with County cleanup of what was left of 100's of fish that died and were decaying on the banks. Turkey Vulgars all over the place.
